What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It's played with a plastic ball with holes and paddles on a court that's smaller than a tennis court, making it enjoyable and accessible for people of all ages and skill levels.

Are the facility and courts heated and cooled?
Yes. Our indoor courts are air-conditioned and heated for a comfortable playing experience.​

How many courts are available for reservations?
We have 3 indoor courts that can be reserved for private play, subject to availability, through our booking site, CourtReserve. Just go to our "Book Online" page to be directed to our booking site and reserve your time.

How do I Join The Club and get access to making reservations on CourtReserve?
Set up a new account through our CourtReserve Portal. Here's how.

Click on the "Create an Account" button above to be directed to CourtReserve.

Click on "Create Account" at the top and complete the form. That's it. Now you can make Court Reservations and Join Open Plays!
Already have a CourtReserve account (your email is already in use on CourtReserve)? You'll need to add us as an "Organization". Here's how:

Log in to your CourtReserve portal here: https://app.courtreserve.com/ . (If you don't remember your password, no worries, just click "Forgot Password" and reset it.)

Once logged in, hover over your name on the top right-hand side and select "My Organizations" from the drop down menu, then "Add Organization".

Type in our club name: Pickle Pit Stop, and click on Join Pickle Pit Stop.

Complete the form and you'll be all set to reserve courts and join Open Plays.

How do I reserve a Court?
You can easily reserve a court through our online booking system CourtReserve. Simply follow the link on our "Book Online" page, create an account if you don't already have one, choose your preferred date and time, and we'll have a court ready for you.​

How long can I reserve a Court?
Reservations are for a minimum of 1-hour sessions and billed per half-hour. However, you may book more than one hour at a time. Remember to be courteous and exit the court as soon as your reservation time has ended to allow the next party their full reservation time.​

How do I reserve an Open Play session?
You can easily reserve an Open Play session through our online booking system, CourtReserve. Simply follow the link on our "Book Online" page, create an account if you don't already have one, choose your preferred date and time, and come join the fun.​​

How long are Open Play sessions?
Open play sessions are 2-3 hours to allow all players a turn to rotate in and have playing time. Check the schedule for skill level and times.

What's the difference between a "Court Reservation" and "Open Play"?
A "Court Reservation" is a one-time fee to have access to the whole court in half-hour increments with a minimum of one hour. Great for friends or teams that prefer to actively play the whole hour together.
"Open play" is charged per person, per 2-hour session. Players join a list and play with others who have signed up for the same play session. Players will rotate to allow everyone the opportunity to have game time within the session.​​​​​

Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Most players prefer their own paddle, so feel free to bring it. But if you don't have one, or forget yours this time, Pickle Pit Stop does have paddles available for a one-time rental. They can be reserved and paid for at the time of booking your online reservation, or by scanning the QR code inside the courts by the doors. Our rental options make it easy for beginners to get started! (Balls will be supplied at no charge.)
We also offer an on-site Pro Shop where we have several Selkirk paddles (and accessories) in stock! You may demo them first for just $10.

What should I wear to play pickleball?
You should wear comfortable, breathable clothing and supportive shoes that are clean and won't damage the court.​

​What hours am I able to come play?
Our members may play 24/7! Contact us first.
Non-members are welcome to reserve a court, join an Open Play, League or Event only during regular business hours.

​What are the Peak times and Off-Peak times?
Peak times: Weekdays 5pm-10pm, Weekends & Holidays all day.
Off-Peak times: Weekdays10pm-5pm

Do you have a Pro Shop where I can buy Pickleball gear?
Yes we do! We are sponsored by Selkirk Sport and sell their products. Just click the "Shop" tab in the menu to view the catalog. We have all these products on site in our shop where you can come check them out in person and even demo the paddles. The Pro Shop is available by appointment only. Remember, purchasing in person means no shipping costs!

What is your Return & Refund Policy for Pickleball gear?
All items may be returned for a full refund up to 30 days from the purchase date as long as they are in original packaging, unused, and in perfect resellable condition.
If you made your purchase online, you will be responsible for paying return shipping.
